<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation of a demodulated signal without lowering transmission efficiency with a simple circuit when adding a thermal noise to a received signal in an orthogonal frequency division multiplex(OFDM) demodulator. SOLUTION: This device has a Fourier transform means 105 for receiving an OFDM signal and separating it into signals for each of subcarriers, a channel estimating means 106 for estimating channel characteristics while using respective separated subcarrier signals, a signal level information extracting means 109 for extracting signal level information of the respective separated subcarrier signals, a signal level information smoothing means 110 for smoothing the signal level information of the respective subcarrier signals in timewise direction for the each subcarrier signal, a channel estimated result correcting means 111 for correcting the estimated result of the channel characteristics while using the smoothed signal level information of the respective subcarrier signals, and outputting high-accuracy channel information and a synchronizing detecting means 107 for performing equalization processing and synchronizing detecting processing to the subcarrier signal separated by the Fourier transform means while using the channel information, and outputting a detecting signal.</p> |
