SOLUTION: A battery-driven information processor 37 is provided with a main body 1 of computer and a keyboard 9 and connected by a connecting cable 8. When remaining capacity Ek of a second battery 24 in the keyboard 9 is detected by a charging type battery remaining capacity detecting circuit part 21 and it is discriminated by a discriminating part in the main body 1 of computer that the remaining capacity Ek of the second battery 24 is less than a predetermined value Ek1, the second battery 24 is charged by applying power from a first battery 2a in the main body 1 of computer through a changeover switch to a charging control circuit part 23. When remaining capacity Eh of the battery 2a in the main body 1 of computer gets less than the remaining capacity Ek of the second battery 24, charging is stopped and the consumption of the first battery 2a is prevented.</p>
