<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face for a golf club head wherein in order to extend the shooting range of a golf ball by lowering the elastic modulus of the golf club head, as a whole, thereby reducing the natural frequency thereof to the natural frequency of the ball, while maintaining the strength of the face, the constitution of a clad material is elaborately designed and moreover error or losses are reduced when the face is formed from a plate of clad material, thereby facilitating the manufacturing of the face. SOLUTION: Materials 11, 12, in odd numbers, which have different physical properties are stacked one upon another to form a face 1 comprising plates of clad materials. Clad materials constituting the face 1 are disposed so that the thickness of each of the materials is disposed symmetrically with respect to the center of the thickness of the face 1.</p> |
