<p>An interference canceler capable of generating a proper replica to reduce the interference between users. An error contained in a signal, if any, is detected which has been generated by hard-deciding an FEC-decoded signal. If an error is detected, a replica is generated either by reducing the value of a weighting coefficient for the erroneous signal or by using a tentative decision value (a hard decision value or a soft decision value) before the FEC decoding. If the error detection result at the previous stage is OK, the replica is generated by using the hard-decided value of the previous stage.</p> |
