Compensation system predicting the dynamics of a sensor, particularly for a motor vehicle

The particulate filter regeneration monitor circuit for a Diesel engine powered motor vehicle has a temperature sensor and circuits (4,8) forming a static estimation model for the values measured by the sensor. A model is formed using an inversion of the static model with the output connected to the dynamic prediction circuits (3,7) of the values as an inverse of the dynamic model, to provide an output of a dynamic value prediction of the value.
