AUTOMATIC OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the beautiful appearance of a vehicle by minimizing an opening part formed on the interior trim of the vehicle.

SOLUTION: An actuator unit 6 is mounted in the pillar of the vehicle, and a connecting rod 7 is connected to an axially linearly reciprocating rack bar provided on the actuator unit 6. The connecting rod 7 is protruded from the pillar through the opening part 13 formed in the interior trim, and the other end is connected to a back door. The actuator unit 6 is arranged so that the moving direction of the rack bar is inclined by an opening/closing inclination angle α toward the vehicle rear side to the direction vertical to the vehicle and inclined by a lateral inclination toward the vehicle lateral directional inside.
