PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting plate for immediately finding an obstacle in front of a train by actively reflecting the light of headlamps of the train in the direction of a driver. SOLUTION: This reflecting plate is formed of a fixing part arranged on an upper surface of a sleeper of a railway line and a reflecting surface part for reflecting the light of the headlamps of the train. The reflecting surface part is turned in the eye direction of the driver. An angle formed by the reflecting surface part to a horizontal plane is 84 degrees to 90 degrees. The reflecting plate is arranged at an interval of 4 m or 50 m on a roadway. The thickness is 1 mm or more. The reflecting surface part is colored in white.
