<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To an outlining apparatus for a picture display device for a pachinko machine which provides a vivid picture to a player by smoothly expressing the outline of a 3D model without adding a special circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The outlining apparatus comprises a first memory 11 which is provided corresponding to the pixel of the display device for displaying the picture and stores color data of a display picture, a second memory 12 which is provided corresponding to the pixel and stores color data of the display picture, a third memory 13 which is provided corresponding to the pixel and stores the depth information of the display picture, and an outline detection means (step S6) which retrieves a pixel whose depth information is changed, detects the outline with the pixel whose depth information is changed as a center when there is the pixel whose depth information is changed, and stores the detecting result in the second memory 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
