PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of easily and quickly winding cable around a winding body and paying out cable without coiling around the winding body in laying wound cable and to provide a device capable of laying cable for a long distance without enlarging the device.

SOLUTION: A laying device main body 1 is provided with the winding body 2 and a rotating member 3 provided on a side part of the winding body 2. The laying device main body 1 is attached on existing electric wire and is moved along the same. Accordingly, optical fiber cable wound around the winding body 2 is laid under a condition that the same is spirally wound around the existing electric wire while rotating the rotating member 3.
