PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate control device for a liquid, a liquid container, a liquid discharge head, a recording device, and a method for controlling a flow rate of the liquid, which can make the liquid such as ink stably circulate by maintaining a differential pressure necessary for the circulation of the liquid such as the ink for a long time. SOLUTION: Air is made to exist in a space part 9 between first and second control members 1 and 3, and the differential pressure necessary for supply of the ink to a recording head from an ink tank 7 is set by pores 2 and 4 provided in the members 1 and 3.
