The casement has integral profiling (1) around the edge to hold the glass pane. The integral profile has two opposing clamping arms (2,3) connected by a web (4) through which the arms can be moved relatively to each other through bending elasticity. The width of a receiving groove (5) is adjustable through an adjuster such as a screw (15) and nut (18) whereby the screw engages through openings (8,9) provided in the clamping arms.
