The stand is assembled of a vertical bar with two horizontal bars attached in a v-shape to its lower end and an L-shaped lever swivel mounted to its upper end. A cylindrical metal sleeve with a serrated lower edge accommodating a narrow sleeve also with a serrated lower edge is joined to the lower side of the longer segment of the lever. The pineapple is positioned on a holding element and the lever pressed down against the forces of a spring pushing the sleeve into the pineapple and removing the skin as well as the inner core.
