PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus for microorganisms able to accurately and rapidly measure the microorganism and easy to be used. SOLUTION: The measuring apparatus for microorganisms is provided by installing an activated light irradiation means 1 for fluorescing a fluorescence dyed sample 101, a fluorescence separation means 3 for separating fluorescent light generated by irradiation from reflected light of the irradiated light, an adjustable image-formation means 4 having a magnification adjusting mechanism, a photographing means 5 and a radiant-measuring means 7 for counting number of the radiants of the photographed image. Therefore, the apparatus can select a rapid measurement or an accurate measurement of the microorganisms by expanding or reducing the visual field area and accurately discriminate the microorganisms from foreign materials owing to good correspondence to many fluorescent reagents.
