PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor constituted so as to suppress non-specific adsorption with respect to a surface (reference part) holding no physiologically active substance. SOLUTION: In the biosensor comprising a substrate having at least two kinds of surfaces in the same plane, at least one of the surfaces is a surface holding no physiologically active substance and the surface holding no physiologically active substance is formed by bringing a mixture of at least two kinds of hydrophilic compounds different in molecular weight into contact with the surface to perform bonding reaction.
