PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor with the fixation ability of a physiologically active substance prevented from lowering, as to a biosensor with its surface coated with hydrophilic macromolecules, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: This biosensor comprises a substrate to whose surface a hydrophilic compound is bonded directly or via an inter-layer and on which at least two compounds each comprising amino groups and carboxyl groups are continuously bonded to the hydrophilic compound to form two or more amide bonds.
