<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the depth of bits and the number of words of an LUT memory 12 as much as possible, and to efficiently obtain γ converted output data with precision beyond the bit depth. <P>SOLUTION: Table output data Dout0 and Dout1 corresponding to first table input data RA0 to be address-inputted to an LUT memory 12 and second table input data RA1 to which 1 is added are outputted, and interpolated outside the LUT memory 12, and output data whose bit depth is larger than that of the LUT memory 12 are obtained. At that time, the LUT memory 12 is turned into a dual port memory, and a register group is used for the single port memory so that signal processing can be quickened.
