A communications network for air-conditioning systems, comprising a plurality of fan coils (B) which correspond to respective wireless nodes of the network, each of the fan coils being provided with a respective wireless communications means (12) for bidirectional communication with the other fan coils (B) of the network and being further provided with a memory which contains instructions for exchanging messages with the nodes of the network according to a mesh-type logic by way of the wireless communications means.
