PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable communication in a wide range by using only a master device and a plurality of slave devices. SOLUTION: In an emergency notification system, a plurality of slave machines 12 to 14 having personal identification information are installed for a master device 11, and the master device 11 and the respective slave devices 12 to 14 are communicatively connected to each other. The respective slave devices 12 to 14 are configured to bi-directionally communicate with the master device 11 and the other slave devices 12 to 14, and when they are installed between the master device 11 and the slave machine 12 installed outside an range where bi-directional communication is possible, the slave machine 13 is configured so as to be usable as a relay unit which transfers notification from the slave machine 12 installed outside the range to the master device. The master device 11 is provided with a memory function 11B for storing the individual identification information and installation places of the slave devices 12 to 14 installed in a fixed range and the identification individual information of the slave device 13 used as a relay unit.
