A life vest is provided to allow a user wearing the lift vest to be distinguished easily by installing a light emitting device in the life vest. A life vest comprises a body including a switch(13), a power unit(14), and a lighting unit(15) that are formed while maintaining an airtight state in the body. The switch is provided at the inside or outside of the body. The power unit is provided at the inside or outside of the body. The lighting unit is installed at the inside or outside of the body and receives power from the power unit so as to be turned on. The power unit includes a case, which is hermetically closed by a plurality of sealing members and has a battery(14b). The power unit has a first end, which is electrically connected with the case and a second end, which is provided with a charging terminal(14c).
