PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side ditch block structure and an accessory for a block joint swallow port, simply digging only to a width required for burying a side ditch block, and opening a rainwater swallow port in a curb stone block of a barrier-free type. SOLUTION: This side ditch block structure 1 includes: the side ditch block 2 having a passage 5 and an opening portion 6 communicating to the passage 5 in the inside of the block 2, and buried in a side ditch excavated part 18; the curb stone blocks 3 disposed in a longitudinal line on the side ditch block 2 to block up the opening portion 6, forming a boundary between a road 50 and a sidewalk 60, and forming a chamfered part 20 at the shoulder part of the road side; and the accessory 4 for the block joint swallow port, which has a pair of raised plates 41, 42 interposed between the curb stone blocks 3 and raised at a predetermined space between them, the upper end portions of edges on the road side of the respective raised plate parts 41, 42 being formed according to the chamfered part 20 of the curb stone block 3 to open the rainwater swallow port 30 at least in the chamfered part, and communicate the same to the opening portion 6.
