PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink holder having suitable hardness as an ink holder of an ink cartridge for an ink-jet printer, having small distortion, having small friction resistance against the inner surface of an ink container when housing the ink holder to the ink container, and capable of reducing generation of twist in the ink holder or a gap in the ink container caused by the friction resistance with the ink container. SOLUTION: The ink holder comprises soft polyurethane foam obtained by reaction of polyol and polyisocyanate under the presence of a foaming agent, a catalyst, and a bubble arranging agent. The polyol comprises merely polyether polyol, and 5 to 30 wt.% of all the polyether polyol is polyether polyol having a mean molecular weight of 1,750 to 2,250 and a hydroxyl value of 150 to 250. The soft polyurethane foam having an isocyanate index of 110 to 120 is made to be three-dimensional reticulated skeleton form from which cell films are removed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
