PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor which can prevent the short-circuit between a positive electrode side brush and a motor housing by suppressing the deformation of the brush, even if a commutator is deformed. SOLUTION: In the motor 1 including a motor housing 10, a stator 11 fixed to the inside of the motor housing 10, a rotor 12 provided rotatably to the inside of the stator 11, a commutator 13 provided to the rotary shaft 12a of the rotor 12, a positive electrode side brush 15a having its one end in contact with the commutator 13 and its other end connected to a positive electrode side lead wire 14a, a negative electrode side brush 15b having its one end in contact with the commutator 13 and its other end connected to a negative electrode side lead wire 14b, and a brush holding frame 16 which is fixed to the motor housing 10 and in which a positive electrode side brush holder 16a holding the positive electrode side brush 15a and a negative electrode side brush holder 16b holding the negative electrode side brush 15b are formed, the positive electrode side brush holder 16a is thickened more than the negative electrode side brush holder 16b.
