PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of checking the shape of a data electrode using a comparatively simple inspection apparatus. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel has a front-face substrate with a plurality of paired display electrodes and a back-face substrate with a plurality of data electrodes 32, and these substrates are disposed in the crossing direction of the paired display electrodes and the data electrodes 32. The data electrodes 32 have wider portions 32a in an image display region 50 for displaying the image with a width opposed to the paired display electrode being wider than any other portions, and dummy wider portions 42a outside of the image display region 50 with the width being wider than any other portions.
