METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INSPECTING THE CONFIGURATION INFORMATION

A method and an apparatus for inspecting the configuration information are presented, and belong to the field of network management. The method comprises: receiving the first check value and the first kind of configuration information from the first router; respectively comparing the saved second check value and third kind of configuration information of its own with the first check value and first kind of configuration information; determining that the configuration information are consistent if the first check value is equal to the second check value and the first kind of configuration information is equal to the third kind of configuration information. The apparatus comprises a receiving module (61), a comparing module (62) and a determining module (63). According to the comparison between the part of the configuration information and the check values from the routers, the general checking to the consistency of the router configuration information is realized.
