<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial marble bathtub which is excellent in lightweight property being convenient for carrying, has a high strength, and also, has marble texture such as glossiness and a depth feeling, and is formed by a press-molding method; and the manufacturing method which is rational and rich in quality stability. <P>SOLUTION: On the external side surface of a bathtub made of a thermoplastic resin molding material, a fiber-knit-reinforced resin layer, e.g. a strip or cylindrical fiber-knit is wound, and also, a reinforced resin layer using a thermosetting resin as a matrix is laminated for this artificial marble bathtub. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
