<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set which gives a recorded image with little difference in color due to the difference in light source, and which can enlarge the range of color reproduction in a dark part while maintaining a high image quality without deteriorating the graininess of an image in the dark part. <P>SOLUTION: The purpose is achieved by providing an ink set characterized in that it has at least a black ink composition containing a black pigment and a light back ink composition containing a black pigment in a concentration less than that in the black ink composition, and that the ratio of the pigment concentration of the black ink composition to that of the light black ink composition (the former/the latter) is (2 to 4.5):1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
