FIELD: hygiene.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to unitary films and laminates thereof, comprising at least first and second film segments adjacent to each other and permanently joined together. First and second film segments are joined at an interface, wherein at interface a tip of second segment overlaps first segment in cross-direction of film. Film has a thickness “T” at tip of second segment, and second segment has a thickness “t” at a distance T in cross direction from tip of second segment.
