The invention relates to 3-(benzylsulfinyl)-5,5-dimethyl-4,5-dihydroisoxazole derivatives and 5,5-dimethyl-3-[(1 H-pyrazol-4-ylmethyl)sulfinyl]-4,5-dihydroisoxazole derivatives of the formula (I) and their salts (see formula I) processes for their preparation and their use as herbicides and plant growth regulators, in particular as herbicides for the selective control of harmful plants in crops of useful plants.
