摘要 Provided are: a metal powder for powder metallurgy, a compound, and a granulated powder which are capable of producing a high-density sintered object; and a high-density sintered object and a decorative article both produced using the metal powder for powder metallurgy. This metal powder for powder metallurgy is characterized in that Co is the main component, Cr is contained in a proportion of 16-35 mass%, Si is contained in a proportion of 0.3-2.0 mass%, and when one element selected from the group consisting of Ti, V, Y, Zr, Nb, Hf, and Ta is taken as a first element and when an element which is one element selected from said group and which either belongs to a later Group of the periodic table than the first element or belongs to the same Group of the periodic table as the first element and to a later period thereof than the first element is taken as a second element, then the first element is contained in a proportion of 0.01-0.5 mass% and the second element is contained in a proportion of 0.01-0.5 mass%.
