PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing composite paper, which enables production of composite paper having an excellent oxygen barrier property while decreasing an amount of use of cellulose nanofibers.SOLUTION: To provide a method for producing composite paper comprising base paper and an oxygen barrier layer which is pasted on at least one surface of the base paper. The method comprises a step of pasting a film containing cellulose nanofibers as a main component on a surface of wet paper having a water content of 70 mass% or more, followed by drying. As the cellulose nanofibers, preferable are those obtained by fibrillating pulp derived from wood. Further, the wet paper to which the film is pasted preferably has a moisture content of 90 mass% or less. Furthermore, in the pasting and drying step, application of pressure is preferably started within 1 minute after superimposition of the film on the wet paper. The composite paper produced by the production method has an amount of lamination of the oxygen barrier layer of 10 g/mor more and 50 g/mor less, and oxygen permeability as specified by JIS-K7126-1(2006) of 1000 mL/(mday atm) or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
