PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher in which a dish basket can be withdrawn from two directions and in which washing operation can be prevented when one of the two opening/closing doors is not closed.SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes: a housing with a washing basin installed inside; a first door which is installed on the side of the housing and which opens/closes a first opening for the washing basin to communicate with the outside of the housing; a second door which is installed on the side opposite from the first door on the side of the housing and which opens/closes a second opening for the washing basin to communicate with the outside of the housing; a dish basket which is arranged inside the washing basin and which is movable in both directions on the first and the second opening side; door opening/closing detection means which detects the opening/closing state of each of both the first and the second doors; washing means for washing articles to be washed which are put in the dish basket inside the washing basin; and control means for controlling the operation of the washing means. The control means prevents washing operation of the washing means in the case where at least one of both doors is detected in the open state by the door opening/closing detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
