Container group cleaning unit - has trolleys formed of grids which ride on rails and are transported by chain conveyor

Container are cleaned by feeding them in with their fill holes uppermost and swinging them round through 180 deg. to pass over a cleaning. They are then returned to the upright position so that they enter a filling point with their holes once again pointing upwards. The infeed system comprises two grid type trolleys for container groups which have holes in their top and bottom surfaces and ride along a circuit track. The track leads from loading point through the cleaning unit to the discharge point. The track may consist of a chain conveyor passed over guide pulleys and a drive pulley, with rails for the trolley wheels.
