The displacement type brake force regulator is used for multi axle motor vehicles. This displacement regulator generates parabolic force distribution approaching the ideal curve of the braking force loss. The brake force ratio can be varied by the additional effects of a variable force acting on the piston separating the circuits by pressure or by pressure and load variation. The static axle load distribution of the vehicle regulates the effective spring constant of the displacing spring according to the demand. The regulator forms a single unit with a double circuit main brake cylinder.
