摘要 PURPOSE:To transfer to a part necessary for a pressure transfer without deteriorating the performance of a nontransferring area by increasing the thickness of an area to be pressure transferred thicker than that of other area. CONSTITUTION:A latent image sheet 10 is formed of a latent image sheet base material 1 and a latent image layer 2, and the material 1 is of a PET film, and the layer 2 is coated with a microcapsule in which a photosensitive material varying in its physical properties with an optical energy of a specific wavelength is contained. An image receiving sheet 11 is formed by coating an image receiving sheet base material 4 with an image receiving layer 3, and a part lower by one step is coated with a magnetic material layer 6. The layer 3 is of a transferring area, and the layer 6 is of a nontransferring area. When the sheets 11, 10 are pressurized by a pressure transfer roller 5 in a state that a latent image is formed by exposure, the microcapsule of the layer 2 is destroyed, dye in the microcapsule is transferred to the layer 3, reacted with a substance in the layer 3 to develop color, thereby forming an image. This transferring pressure is very high, but the thickness of the nontransferring area on the image receiving sheet is thinner then that of the transferring area. Thus, it is not transferred and not damaged.
