PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a shift lever simply and reliably by turning a solenoid on when a brake is operated, rotating a release lever, depressing a position pin, and releasing the lock of a release button. CONSTITUTION:A knob 2 is provided on a shift lever 1, and a release button 4 is slidably inserted into a hole 3 provided in the knob 2. A compression rod 7 hooked on the release button 4 at the upper end and connected to a position pin 8 at the lower end is provided in the hollow shaft section 6 of the shift lever 1. On the other hand, a release lever 18 depressing the position pin 8 is rotatably provided on a position plate 13. A solenoid 19 turned on when a brake is operated to protrude a push rod 19a is provided near the tip section of the release lever 18. The hooking of a stopper section 16 is thereby released to allow the operation of the release button 4. |
