PURPOSE:To improve information transmission efficiency by using lots of synchronous signal pulses in the process of synchronization restoration to apply synchronization restoration quickly and assigning a part of a synchronization detection pattern to other objective overhead while the synchronization is taken on the other hand. CONSTITUTION:When a synchronizing state notice bit S in a received frame is 0, a transmission section 2 of an A station 1 inserts a prescribed synchronizing location detecting pattern to 1st and 2nd synchronizing location detecting pattern insertion locations F1, F2 in the sent frame. Moreover, when the synchronizing state notice bit S in a received frame is 1, the synchronization location detecting pattern is inserted to the 1st synchronization location detecting pattern insertion location F1 in the sent frame and inserts other objective overhead such as monitor information or control information to the 2nd synchronization location detecting pattern insertion location F2. Thus, the information transmission efficiency is improved. |
