<p>PURPOSE:To improve pigment dispersion and storage stabilities by limiting the amount of sodium and potassium contained in an ink. CONSTITUTION:An anionic or a nonionic surfactant, a dispersant such as a polymeric dispersant and 1 to 30wt.% pigment having a particle size of 25mum, or less, optionally together with a water-soluble resin, a mildewcide, a rust preventive, a defoaming agent, a viscosity modifier, a penetrant, a pH regulator, a nozzle drying inhibitor, etc., are added to water or a mixture of water and a water-soluble organic solvent, and dispersed or dissolved. Then, the mixture is filtered, and the amount of sodium and potassium contained in the resultant ink is limited to 5000ppm or less.</p> |
