<p>PURPOSE:To enable the combined use of a thermal head by providing an applied pulse generating means generating a signal obtaining desired gradation and a flag means detecting a paper feed control pulse to start the applied pulse generating means. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 3 compares the output of a memory 1 with the output of a counter 4 and, when both outputs coincide as the result of comparison, a signal (a) is set to zero. The counter 4 is an asynchronous load counter loaded with an initial value 1BC (showing 1 in a hexadecimal digit) preset on the basis of the output signal (b) of a flag 5 and counting the falling edge of the signal (c) outputted from a counter 7 after the release of loading. The output value of the counter 4 is connected to the comparator 3 and a table ROM 6. The flag 5 is cleared by an enable signal (e) and performs toggle movement by a line lock (d) and a signal (h). The signal (h) is one obtained by gating the coincidence signal (a) outputted from the comparator 3 and the signal (c) outputted from the counter 7.</p> |
