PURPOSE:To form a thread cutting edge at an edge line without damaging the twist of a scissors cutting edge. CONSTITUTION:A clamping device 2 for a scissors cutting edge A is arranged on a table and guide rails 15 an opposite distance between which is decreased toward the point of the scissors cutting edge and which has a gradient inclining down toward the point of the scissors cutting edge are arranged on the table. Further, a slider 24 guided by means of the guide rails is arranged and the terminal end of a bar material 28 is supported to the slider. Abrasives are placed on the under surface of the bar material. The bar material is slid in a forward and backward movement direction togetherwith the slider to form a thread cutting edge on the edge line of the back of the scissors cutting edge. |
