<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To timely provide information having data quantity and a data format exceeding processing capacity of a portable communication terminal, for a user of the portable communication terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A web server 51 of an information provider 50 publishing the information for investors sends a notification mail to a cellular phone 10 when a contents database 52 is updated. The notification mail includes an access address for text information and a command line to designate a transmitting destination of image information related to the text information. An investor as a user of the cellular phone 10 receiving the notification mail obtains the text information by referring the access address and designates the transmitting destination of the image information by the command line.
