PURPOSE: To provide a mechanical ignition type sensor which can set dimension al tolerances of respective component parts large while operational sensitivity is being maintained as specified, and also can reduce its cost. CONSTITUTION: In a mechanical ignition type sensor 10, a slide hold section 42 and a projected section 43 are formed in a trigger lever 36. The projected section 43 is engaged with the inner circumferential periphery of a trigger groove 44 for an inertial mass body 32 so as to be formed into a condition where the slide hold section 42 is brought into contact with the inertial mass body 32. This constitution thereby allows the slide hold section 42 (specified engaging margin f) to be determined by a forming position of the projected section 43, and also prevents the slide hold section 42 from being affected by scattering of dimension for each component part of the sensor. Therefore, even if a dimensional tolerance of each component part for the sensor is not strictly set, its operation sensitivity can be maintained as specified by accurately setting only the forming position (dimension) for the projected section 43 of the trigger lever 36, and its cost can thereby be reduced. |
