PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make previous display data not displayed in startup by initializing memory information of a display panel when the generation of the operation stopping factor of a plasma display panel is detected. Thereafter, when the Vcc for logic is lowered to the voltage of not more than a Vth, the inverse of RESET2 is inputted to the part 109, which stops all operations. Thus, the influence due to the state at the time the panel is stopped in the next startup of the panel is eliminated.
