The seat runner has a U section (1) with a bottom (11) and two webs (12). Towards one end are stops (15) extending parallel to the bottom. An end part (2) has a leg (24) which is deformable in thickness. The distance (d) between the stops and the bottom is slightly less than the thickness (e) of the end part leg. The leg is inserted between the stops and the section bottom. The leg upper surface has grooves (25) transverse to the runner longitudinal direction. The end part has a front wall (21), formed from the same piece as the leg, whose edges (22) cover the front face (14) of the section end. A reinforcing gusset (29) connecting the front wall and the leg extends in a plane perpendicular to the leg and passes between the stops. |
