<p>PURPOSE:To prevent miscount of control signal even when there is a difference in the speed between a target tape and actual tape by controlling the amplification factor of a variable amplification factor amplifier so as to decrease or increase it corresponding to the high and low of the frequency of a frequency generating device. CONSTITUTION:A capstan motor 7 is driven by a motor control driving circuit 8 having received a target speed control signal 4 and a pulse synchronized with the rotary speed of the capstan motor 7 is given to an amplification control circuit 20 from a frequency generating device 19. At this time a control head 1 reproduces the signal recorded on a magnetic tape 6. The amplification factor of a control amplifier 2 amplifying this signal is controlled via the amplification control circuit 20 so as to decrease and increase it corresponding to the high and low of the frequency fed from the frequency generating device 19. When the traveling speed of the magnetic tape 6 is quickened, the amplification factor of the amplifier 2 is reduced and when slowed down, the amplification factor is increased, so the control signal recorded on the magnetic tape 6 is not miscounted.</p> |
