PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil composition for refrigerant compressors using a hydrofluorocarbon, having good compatibility with refrigerant of alternate fluorocarbons, having low hygroscopic property and excellent in lubricating properties, by compounding a mixed refrigerator oil of a polar refrigerator oil with a nonpolar refrigerator oil with a silicone-based additive. SOLUTION: This refrigerator oil is obtained by compounding a mixed refrigerator oil of (A) a polar refrigerator oil (e.g. ester-based synthetic oil) with (B) a nonpolar refrigerator oil (e.g. naphthene-based material oil) with (C) a silicone-based additive. The compounding amount of the component B in the mixed refrigerator oil is preferably 10-80 wt.%. An oily non-reactive straight silicone or non-reactive modified silicone having 100-10,000 viscosity is preferable as the component C. For example, dimethylsilicone oil is exemplified as the component C. The additive amount of the component C to the above mixed refrigerating machine oil is preferably 10-50 weight ppm. An epoxy-based compound or an oil-improving agent may be added to the mixed refrigerator oil. |
