PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device of image forming device capable of easily positioning a controlling member for controlling the height of a spike of the magnetic brush formed on a developing sleeve, the developing sleeve and a magnetic roller simple, and making the thickness of the developer formed on the developing sleeve appropriate. SOLUTION: This developing device of image forming device is provided with the developing sleeve, the magnetic roller arranged in the developing sleeve, and the controlling member arranged adjacent to the developing sleeve, for controlling the thickness of the developer on the developing sleeve. Then, the magnetic roller is made so that the magnetic flux density in the normal direction becomes minimum, at the position close to the controlling member, and provided with the area L, in which the flux density in the tangential direction is flat in the tangential direction. |
