PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the pressure applied to toner in a rubbing area and to obtain a high-quality image by providing a level difference between an elastic member and a core bar and forming a space part between a cylindrical thin film member and the core bar. SOLUTION: A developing roller 9 is constituted of the cylindrical thin film member 17 having flexibility, the elastic member 16 disposed at both ends of the member 17 and having elasticity and the core bar 15. The member 16 is attached to the member 17 and the core bar 15. Thus, the member 16 is integrally rotated with the rotation of the member 17 and the core bar 15. Furthermore, since both ends of the member 17 are held by the member 16, the member 17 does not contact with the core bar 15 and the inside of the member 17 is made hollow. In the developer carrier provided with the member 17 performing development by rubbing an image carrier and having the flexibility, the level difference is provided between the member 16 and the core bar 15 and the space part is formed between the member 17 and the core bar 15. |
