<p>A method of prioritizing handoff requests which are waiting in a queue to be assigned a channel in a mobile communication system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, when there are a plurality of queued handoff requests, the handoff requests are prioritized based on the channel capacity, service type, and cutoff time of the call, and a free channel is assigned to the handoff request with the highest priority.</p> |
