The invention concerns a device for acquiring co-ordinates of interaction points of an acoustic source with the surface of a plate of finite dimensions comprising a set of sound sensors (SMC1 to SMC4) each formed by a pair of piezoelectric transducers located opposite each other on either side of the plate, the device comprising processing means for determining the co-ordinates of said interaction point by analysing the difference in propagation time of the sound waves transmitted by the source to the different sensors. The invention is characterised in that the processing means comprise associated with each sensor a particular electronic circuit comprising cascade wideband pre-amplifier means, and selective amplifying means centred on a first predetermined frequency.
