PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise ejecting device for an automatic vending machine capable of expanding a merchandise housing space while securing merchandise ejection without performing drastic design change of the automatic vending machine itself. SOLUTION: This merchandise ejecting device 1 for an automatic vending machine which ejects merchandise S housed in a merchandise path 3 extending horizontally forward from the front end ejection opening 4 of the path 3 when the merchandise S is purchased is provided with a drive mechanism 13 and a pusher 12 which is constructed in a movable way between the vicinity of the rear end of the path 3 and the vicinity of the opening 4, is also driven by the mechanism 13 when the merchandise S is purchased and presses the merchandise S toward the opening 4, and the pusher 12 has a support 19 which is driven by the mechanism 13 and movable from the vicinity of the rear end of the path 3 to a movable forefront position A on the opening 4 side and a pusher main body 18 which is supported by the support 19, also abuts on the rear of the merchandise S and is projected toward the opening 4 when the support 19 is moved to the position A.
